Nottinghamshire Police, one of the agencies taking part, said the administrative support provided by the local Chamber of Commerce would help the venture become more cost-effective at a time when police budgets were under pressure. The Chamber said of the crime-fighting scheme which protects businesses: "It is a true example of how private sector businesses and public sector organisations can work together effectively."
