Digital CCTV Dome Cameras from CCTV Surveillance Ltd are an option for shops or stores wanting to tackle robberies. Dome cameras are a good choice since they can be installed discreetly on a wall or ceiling corner with all the cables hidden within the casing. Unlike body cameras, Dome Cameras come with built in lenses, usually one of two types. One of these is an adjustable vari-focal lens for cameras that need to change focal distance from time to time.
Police have distributed surveillance images of thieves stealing a skip that is thought to be worth £2,000. Officers said the 15ft (4.6m) long yellow skip weighing more than a tonne was taken from a business park in Shropshire on a week last Friday. Security vans ferrying cash to banks and shops in the build-up to Christmas are being offered armed escorts. Meanwhile, undercover and high-visibility police patrols will escort the vehicles as they make their deliveries. Officers will also be monitoring CCTV from areas where cash deliveries are being made. The scheme is along the same lines as last year which led to a significant fall in the number of cash on the move robberies where it was implemented.

PC Gary Archer of British Transport Police said: “This is a sad case that has seen charity boxes taken from a public space.” Two of the boxes have since been recovered empty.

The man took the vehicle from the Welsh car centre on Wednesday, November 7. Anyone with information should call police on the new 101 number.
