The widespread use of CCTV surveillance systems has managed to help drive a 48% drop in crime levels within the Lincolnshire town of Barton-upon-Humber near Scunthorpe, a news report in the local media has revealed.
Britain’s first Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care, Andrea Sutcliffe, revealed plans for the CQC to monitor the finances of around 60 of the biggest care providers and also implement a series of measures designed specifically to make services safer, such as hidden cameras and “mystery shoppers”.<
